All About Me

Hello there!

My name’s Nyasha Sakutukwa and I am the author of this little blog that you are reading.

Although I currently live in Sheffield as I attend University here, I grew up in a small village called Shenley.  In fact, I live opposite the London Colney training ground that our great club uses.  It actually irks me a little bit, because the front gates are in London Colney but the fields themselves are situated in Shenley.

As a kid, and before all of the high tech security, we used to sneak into the training grounds on Sunday evenings and ‘borrow’ the high tech Nike balls and 5-a-side goal posts so that we could use them in our weekly game of football.  Looking back, it wasn’t the greatest idea to steal from the club you support but as a kid you don’t really think about that.  Soon enough they cottoned on and started taking them back, one time even leaving a note to say see you next week.

Anyways, I suppose the proximity of a Premier League club meant that it was always them that I was going to support and have done ever since.  The moment that sealed  it all must have been when father dearest bought me the lightning blue away strip with my name on the back.  In fact, I saw the same kit in a Vintage shop earlier this year and quickly snapped it up.

There are so many great Arsenal blogs out there, and I suppose I decided to write a blog to air out my own feelings about Arsenal.  I’ve always enjoyed writing, and it’s easy to write about something that you love.  And I love Arsenal.

I really hope you enjoy reading the blog, it’s not meant to be anything too serious, just my ramblings.  Feel free to comment as it genuinely does brighten up my day to see someones read something that I’ve written.

I love Arsenal,

and I love you too.

Nyasha.
